Hi everyone, my name is Derrick. I am a recent college graduate and I am from and currently living in Texas. I was a full time employee during the time I was in college and folks, it was not easy. I chose to do so in order to complete college at a faster pace. While having this goal, it did not seem to always go as planned. I can remember becoming a Sales Manager from a Sales Representative working in the health and fitness industry, I was taking the responsibility of working more hours and managing a team of employees to increase revenue sales. Although my income was higher, it was affecting my time for study. Soon I started working 50 hr weeks, mind you I was a full time student. This lead to me dropping classes and delaying my graduation process. Although I dropped classes I still maintained my ambition to finish school. Soon I had to make a choice to resign from the company of interest and take on another job for a company that was more willing to be flexible with my school schedule. Even though I was in school looking to finish and start my career, my passion was not to work in the corporate world for 40+ years or basically until the day I leave this Earth. I have always wanted to have my own business from seeing how so many of the people that I love and care for are not where they want to be in doing so for many years. I want to reach out to people all over as much as I can who are in the same shoes as me. I really hope that I have touched someone's heart today and that you have a better insight on your dreams to accomplish in the future. I have an interest in helping people. It is what I was put here to do in my lifetime as long as I have air to breathe.
